DIANNE'S INDIVIDUAL CHART SESSIONS

This extensive 90-minute session is designed to introduce the symbolic language of astrology as it applies to all areas of a person’s life, such as character traits, behavior patterns, relationships, and vocation. Many clients find astrology serves as a validating confirmation of things about themselves they were already sensing. In addition, astrology is an excellent system for revealing cycles in life and growth patterns. The session is tape recorded for your review.

Astrology is closely linked to psychology; therefore it is a counseling tool, not a fortune telling device. Also essential to good counseling is the client’s view of his/her quest for understanding of self, others, and one’s place in the world. One of Dianne’s strengths is the ability to perceive an individual’s personal symbolism. In working with these images each client’s unique storehouse of unconscious knowledge is tapped; much awareness and understanding of a particular personality trait or problem area can occur, leading to healthy change.

An astrological chart contains an enormous amount of information, not all of which can be thoroughly covered in one meeting. And because astrology reveals movement, cycles and growth patterns in a person’s life and in their psyche (often inter-related), Dianne recommends that people view astrology as a lifelong tool. The frequency of additional sessions/updates is up to you. Many people determine that timing by a birthday ritual, a gut feeling, or when undergoing change or challenges.

Perspectives gained through the lens of astrology can offer timely assistance in navigating through major life changes/challenges. For those wanting short-term counseling/coaching to assist with a particular creative project, a career change and/or intensive growth/healing phases, a three month program is offered. ASTROLOGY OF RELATIONSHIPS

Astrology can provide enormous insights into the dynamics and rhythm of relationships. Relationships of any kind -– romantic, friendships, family, and professional. A two step process is used. First a comparison of the two individual charts is made. This reveals the interplay between the two people involved and the impact each has on the other (see open arrow between A & B). Many astrologers and people in general stop here in their understanding of relationships.

A relationship is like a “third partner” and has its own energy field. Astrologically this relationship energy field can be seen (“x-rayed”) by using a composite chart. This chart is calculated by blending the two individual charts. This third factor in any relationship is both created by the two people involved (see bold black arrows) and, in turn, influences both parties. (see curved two-toned arrows) For over two decades Dianne has worked with this additional factor, the composite chart, which provides a much deeper and more thorough understanding of relationship patterns. As a result Dianne is convinced they provide a major missing piece in understanding relationships. To paraphrase Jung, who saw relationships in terms of chemistry, whereas if there is any reaction, both people are transformed.

Please note: For ethical reasons, both parties must be informed of the session. In order to insure the most effective results, a pre-requisite for optimal relationship counseling is a minimum of an hour session with Dianne for each individual. IF INTERESTED IN AN APPOINTMENT:

In order to do any astrological work, three pieces of information are needed: 1)your birth date (day, month, year) 2) the place of birth…city/state and 3) the exact time of your birth. This can often be found on your birth certificate, or by contacting the hospital where you were born. An exact birth time is important, but for those who are unable to acquire that information, many valuable benefits can still be obtained through astrology.
